Sample Finished ModelsWe built a few of our Sketchup designs over the holidays - enjoy! ![]() Name: The Calgary Tower ![]() Name: The Glorious Pagoda ![]() Name: The Infinite Museum Model Building TipsIn the near future, I will take these and other tips, include some pictures and add them the 'Learn Waybe' page. If you have any suggestions of your own, please advise! The Calgary Tower 12/09/2008
![]() This is a well known landmark in Waybe's home city. Notice the hidden edges in the column; this gives the impression of a single piece, even though it is three. The dome at the top takes a little while to unfold; Don't worry, Waybe is still working! The little torch and radio antenna at the top are set to "wood"; they are too small to make out of paper. This is another trick you can use in your models to add detail. As always, take the pdf to print the model, and the .skp file to unfold it.
The Summer House 11/30/2008
![]() This time we have a suburban house in a warm climate, like Barcelona. You can sit on the upstairs patio, watch the sunset, enjoy the breeze, relax.

Good day everyone. We've a new version of Waybe out, 1.3. This version includes bugfixes, better unfolding, and will automatically scale your model to fit the paper. The Sports Car Lives! 11/09/2008
![]() I made a cool sports car to show everybody. There are holes for axles, so the car can roll when built. Simple to build, with a big base, top, and body panels.
Today, a tower inside a wall. 11/02/2008
![]() Here's a little tower in a walled garden. A good way to decorate your desk, or make a small city. The PDF has the printable, unfolded version, and the skp file has the 3D model for Sketchup.
A fighter jet that is easy to build. 10/27/2008
![]() Here's a simple interceptor to build with Waybe. Every piece is colored on a different face, or with a specific pattern, making it simple to figure out which piece goes where. As always, get the skp file if you want to modify the jet, and the pdf if you just want to build it.
A patch for Waybe and Safari 10/27/2008
If the pictures don't show up in your print window on the Mac, download this file. The two files inside go in Sketchup/plugins/w_tools/WebDialog, replacing the old files there. Only download this if you've had problems!
